Four trading entities ran on separate systems with a shared finance team. Month-end took the better part of three weeks, most of it spent reconciling inventory and intercompany balances by hand.
Sales worked out of a CRM nobody trusted. Stages meant different things to different reps, half the pipeline had no next action, and forecasting was assembled manually in a spreadsheet each week.
